Pavers & Patios FAQs
How much does a paver patio cost?
It depends on the size of the patio, the material you choose, the pattern, the condition of the site and any extras like steps, seat walls or lighting. We give you a clear quote after a free on-site consultation.
Are pavers better than poured concrete?
Each has its place. Pavers offer more colors, patterns and styles, and individual pieces can be lifted and reset if needed. Poured concrete is a simpler, clean surface. We will help you choose based on your home, your budget and how you will use the space.
How long does a paver patio last?
A patio built on a properly prepared, compacted base with good drainage can last for many years. Most problems with patios come from shortcuts in base preparation, which is why we put so much care into it.
Can you replace my old cracked patio or walkway?
Yes. We can remove an old concrete or brick patio, walkway or driveway and build a new one in its place, often with an updated size or layout that works better for you.
Do you handle permits?
Some projects need a permit from your town. We handle permitting as part of the project when it is required, so you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
How long does it take to build a paver patio?
It depends on the size of the patio, the site and the design. We will give you a realistic schedule with your proposal, so you know what to expect before we start.
What areas do you serve for paver installation?
We build patios, walkways and driveways in Evanston, Wilmette, Kenilworth, Winnetka, Glencoe, Skokie, Glenview, Northfield, Northbrook and the surrounding North Shore suburbs.
